death and danger

W.A.L.T Luke and I have been learning how to identify language features of a narrative, like a simile and a metaphor.
A simile is when you compare something abstract to something concrete. For example: My brother is as annoying as a monkey in a tree!
A metaphor is when you say something abstract is something concrete. For example: My brother is a naughty monkey.

We practiced turning abstract nouns into concrete ideas by writing poems. Luke's poem is about death and mine is about danger which are both abstract ideas.

I hope you appreciate it. We worked hard.
